Some projects stay with you long after their done.

This is one of them!

I had the privilege of producing a full-length documentary about Cato, Kansas...the first settlement in Crawford County, and one of the most significant pieces of history in this entire region that most people have never heard of.

What started as a project became something much more. Sitting with the people who have dedicated their lives to keeping this story alive, hearing the voices from archival footage of those who are no longer with us, and watching it all come together into something worthy of this community's legacy, it's the kind of work that reminds me why I do what I do.

The full-length documentary will premiere at this year's Cato Days event, and I could not be more proud to share it with the people who made it possible.

If you've never been to Cato Days, this is the year to go. Happening this weekend!!

Special thank you to the PSU Students in Corporate and Promotional Video course that helped capture several interviews featured within this piece!!! They're credited at the end of the full-length piece and without their contributions, this history wouldn't be fully told!!!
