Rebuild Better Together

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for tuning in last evening for the 4th and final drawing of our 2026 RBT Cash & Gift Bash.

Our entire team is incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this fundraiser possible: those who donated prizes, purchased tickets, shared our event, and helped us sell tickets. Every bit of that support matters.

All proceeds from this fundraiser go directly toward our programs serving the spinal cord injury community. RBT has no paid staff and so much of what we are able to accomplish is made possible by an amazing group of people who generously give their time, energy, talents, and hearts to this organization. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to raise the funds and provide the support that allows our programs to continue reaching people living with spinal cord injuries. Most while holding down full-time employment... We could not do this without them or without all of you who continue to believe in and support our mission. We thank you!

September was Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, and we are especially thankful for what RBT was able to provide during the month. We donated $3,800 worth of adaptive equipment, delivered 3 Bags of Comfort, and provided a $1,000 grant through our Gift Program. We are also excited to collaborate with Ms Wheelchair Pennsylvania during their Pageant Weekend through our Roll & Renew Program.

Today, we are simply feeling grateful and blessed for every opportunity we are given to make life a little better for someone in the spinal cord injury community. ❤

Meet Tyree Brown, one of our wonderful Rebuild Better Together Roll & Renew participants!

Through Roll & Renew, Tyree was able to have her locs washed, dried, and beautifully styled by Kim, owner of Inspiration Locs-N-Cutz in Capitol Heights, Maryland. And just look at that smile!

Our Roll & Renew Program is about more than a trip to the salon. It’s about helping individuals with spinal cord injuries access personal-care services, feel refreshed, and enjoy the confidence that can come from doing something special for yourself.
A huge thank you to Kim and Inspiration Locs-N-Cutz for taking such great care of Tyree!
