We will never forget. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we remember their courage, sacrifice, and solidarity.

We remember those who went to work that morning and never came home, those who ran toward danger to help others, and the thousands of skilled tradespeople who worked tirelessly in the rescue, recovery and rebuilding efforts.

Happy Labor Day from Boilermakers Local 154!

Today, we honor the generations of working men and women whose skill, strength and solidarity helped build our nation. Their fight secured safer workplaces, fair wages, reasonable hours, and greater dignity on the job.

We celebrate that progress while recognizing that the work continues. Together, we must keep fighting to improve labor conditions, protect workers’ rights and create a safer, fairer future for every American worker.

Happy Labor Day weekend! ❤️💙☀️💪

This Labor Day, Homer City Generation is spotlighting the growth of the Homer City Energy Campus workforce. There are now 1,800+ direct-hire tradespeople and skilled contractors active on the project site, including members of nine local union organizations and a broad cross-section of Pennsylvania’s building and construction trades.

The workforce growth reflects the rapid progress being made on what is the largest natural gas-powered plant currently underway in the United States and one of the largest economic development projects in Pennsylvania history.
