We couldn't wait any longer, The team has been pocketing the BIG NEW for over a week,

TEAM 3J GOT AN UPGRADE!

POP'S pulled the trigger on this bad boy last week!

Our race program is taking a step to the next level! Although we know trailers don't win races it certainly can make things go way smoother trackside!

I can't thank enough my parents and team for believing in me!

3J is coming for the front, running with the big dogs!

Now we need to upgrade tow vehicles for the 2027 season! We are still undecided onwhat we are going to get. Not quite ready for a toterhome. Anyone got a deal on something that will suit needs send it our way.

RACE DAY RECAP #32

10/3 Michaels Mercer Raceway with All Star Circuit of Champions

Mercer is a track I don't have a lot of 410 laps at , tonight being my 4th night ever, and seem to have a little "bad luck".

Tonight we put a basic set up from notes we had from a few weeks car felt decent in hot laps, a little bobble during qualifying still managed to be 11/18 and not too far off.

Heat race line up 6th with top 5 to the show. Car was really good and definitely felt like we could of raced into the show but unfortunately got into a spun car and went for a pretty wild ride, I'm just glad it landed on all fours and didn't go upside-down!

With a ton of hustle the team and I wrenched away knowing we had only a few heat races to try to get the car fixed. We really almost just loaded it up but we were able to get the New front axle , front wing , Left Rear tire and check the car set up and squareness. Dropping it off the jack stand just as the B Main pushed off.

B main started 6th with 4 going to the show. Ran hard and had some great racing with Esh and Jerich just outside of the transfer spot but got a LF flat with 3 to go, so had to bring it pitside. DNF for the night.. but overall finally felt decent at Mercer! 3J earned out FIRST EVER "Hard Luck" award! Thank you to Scott Benic / Benic Enterprises...

This late season has been rough for the 3J.. 3 of last 4 nights DNF with Flip at Sharon, Blown RR tire putting me into the wall at PPMS and flat at Mercer. It's been a costly last 4 nights with destorying 3 front axles, 4 rims, 3 tires, a 2 front wings, 1 top wing , and a nerf bar. Sprint Car Racing is humbling...

The team is really getting good at front axle changes quick. But let's hope the black cloud cones to and end!

We got some GREAT new coming this week, stay tuned!

Moving forward 3J is planning on:
10/10 Sharon
10/16-17 Lernerville
11/5-7 Charotte

ISO upgrade purchase for our tow vehicle…. Dually, 4500/5500, western hauler / flat bed, or Sport Chassis considered.. not really looking for Toter but would consider if deal was right…. No real hurry , but Pop’s is ready to buy before 2027 season, and won’t buy junk.. He wants his truck back. Any leads?

UPDATE:
3 J has been quiet for a few weeks.
Last weekend we had planned to race Saturday but with everything being 3+ hours away we made a smart choice early Friday to take the weekend off. Friday I would have gone to any track most likely late, and Sure enough the rainouts won on the places we would have picked to head for Saturday.
This weekend there is nothing local again. We considered Wayne County but it isn’t working out. We also considered going 305 to Little Guys at Mercer crew chiefing for Bella or even me jumping in for old time sakes, but with the car not ready and Bella having slight back pain issues (an ongoing issue that will probably curb her for the season) we figured again to take the weekend off.
3J isn’t done yet for 2026. Mercer, Sharon, Lernerville all have 1 show left.. we are eyeing up a few shows to travel to including The World Finals at Charlotte ( we are currently seeking sponsors to do so)
For fans , followers, and friends who are unaware this spring I graduated high school and immediately started an Apprenticeship with the Heavy Equipment/ Crane Operators Union. This is a really great opportunity but with training and work obligations our racing has been “sort of last minute plans’. The 3J team is committed to racing and is already working on the 2027 season . We will be making a few upgrades, have a new car and all the components already in our possession to build (fresh Kistler is done and ready for us to pick up ). So 2027 is already looking positive!
I can’t thank my loyal dedicated crew and my family enough…. We have come a long way, and the best is yet to come! Just a young team out here “Making My Idol’s my Rivals”.

Race Recap #30

9/11 Lernerville Speedway with the Commonwealth Clash with USAC Racing

DOUBLE DUTY FOR FIRST TIME! Wing and Wingless 410!

the crew talked all summer about whether we would run a wgless car. We had planned to try it out at August Test and Tune but that rained out.. So still on the fence we decided mid week to set up our "back up" car as a wingless. We didn't have a true wingless car to set up but did the best we could with Rim offsets, getting the front axle and RR as far out as we could and put a basic Triple X Race Components wingless set up in the car.

Wingless 410: 24 cars signed it, with only 1 other driver besides myself making their wingless debut. With hot laps being my first ever laps it took a bit to get used to it. I still wasn't comfortable when I qualified but qualified as expected toward the bottom, ending up 20th of 24. Heat race I went P7 to P6. but got more comfortable with every lap. Feature: I went P18 to P17.

Winged 410: 25 cars signed in. I qualified 5th in my group and went P5 to P7 in the heat race.. TBH I jumped from the wingless right into the winged and really was driving the Winged Car like crap.. I had to run the B Main Starting P2. I took the lead on lap 1 and checked out winning it. Feature: I lined up P19 and felt great. moved up through the field a bit but the race ran green to checkered so never got a chance to close the gaps and get a chance at a move on a restart. Finished P13 (+6!)

All in all 2 cars in 2 different classes when there were only 3 classes total was a TON of work, not only at the track (We had 7 Crew guys in the pits!) but 3 full days in the shop going over the cars and prepping. THANK YOU TO MY CREW! IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU ALL!

All in all it was a great night, not exactly the results we wanted and we really looked forward to being able to see what we could do on night 2 of the event, but unfortunately rain won the second night. With the downpours both Saturday and Sunday expected the track and series canceled day 2 (and it did!) It kind of sucks because the "Spec" tires we were required to run for the wingless are pretty much useless to us as there aren't any "local" wingless races left. We knew 3 tires at over $900 was the cost of racing, but we certainly hoped to get at least 2 nights of racing (and payout as it was $600 to start the A main so 2 nights would have at least broke even for tires and fuel if I made the A Main) Such is racing...!)

Raceday Recap #29

Saturday 9/5 Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway with FAST on Dirt
We made the last minute decision to race with just Pops and Branden as crew as most of the other crew members had commitments with the holiday weekend. Brayden's dad was a big help as he was at the races with a firend and stepped up to give a hand (Thank you!)

27 cars signed in, with Wayne County raining out a few really decent drivers diverted to PPMS. I qualified 5th in our group, dropped back one spot to a 6th place finish in the heat race. Started P2 in B main and finished there. Lined up P18 in heat and passed a few cars working my way through the field but eventually became lapped traffic, so I committed to just holding my line high. When on lap 24 of 25 my RR violently blew, putting me into the wall. I was pretty sure I was running 12 or 13th at the time, but scored 17th with a DNF. I have only violently blew tires 2x during racing, coincidently both at PPMS. Fortunately the damage was contained to the mud cover, nerf bar and complete front axle (My LF brake caliper is missing, so it must be on the track)
