It was a big weekend as we opened Top String Lacrosse - Brecksville to the community. For years now, families in the Cleveland and surrounding North East Ohio region have made the 2 hour drive to the Pittsburgh locations and shopped with us online with incredible loyalty and support. They have constantly asked "how do we get a store like this?" and "we love your staff, can you open a store in Ohio?"
That's an incredibly humbling thing when this family business started as just stringing heads in a basement and garage in 2018.
We're incredibly proud to make Top String Lacrosse Brecksville a reality, but the truth is it wouldn't even be possible without the love, support, and trust this community has put into us for years now!

We are beyond excited to share that Top String Lacrosse - Brecksville is now open! With what began as stringing heads in a basement in 2018, we could never have imagined it turning into a family business or that there would be three locations! For years, families in Cleveland and the surrounding Northeast Ohio region have made the 2-hour drive to us for help with their lacrosse needs. Because of that wonderful support, we knew the only right thing to do was bring a store to this great community!
Call your people and tell them you love them. Some things are bigger than lacrosse, and we have always promised you that we would be real, honest and transparent with you. As we have been grieving as a company at the loss of our friend Pete Shaffalo, our company owner Anthony Gumina, has been preaching the following to us in the weeks since. Call your people and tell them you love them, it's simple but powerful and we thought it would be something we should share with our community.

This weekend we lost our Pete. As I like to say, he wore many hats for us. He was a best friend, an uncle, a brother, a confidant, our corner man, a father figure, a mentor, and even a Top String delivery driver.
He was everything to us and at the same time the very best of us.
I'm not quite ready to share his story with
Top String Lacrosse, but I will soon, and we will also find our way to honor him, so his legend with us will live on.
