📍 Mainstay at the RCPA Conference!

Several Mainstay team members attended the RCPA Conference in Hershey, PA this week, where Associate Director of Technology Heather Lewis participated in an important conversation about the future of person-centered remote supports.

Joined by Renda Cypher, Quality, Compliance, and Operations Director of CLASS, Inc. and Laura Mitchell, CEO of GrandCare Systems - Corporate HQ, the three hosted the session: “Beyond Remote Monitoring: The Future of Person-Centered Remote Supports.”

The discussion explored how remote supports can help promote greater independence, quality of services, and lead to meaningful outcomes for people.

Reflecting on the session, Heather shared: "The strong engagement from the audience at RCPA confirmed that providers are looking for practical ways to leverage technology and remote support. I was honored to share Mainstay’s journey and lessons learned along the way.”

For the third year, Mainstay CEO Kim Sonafelt and Keystone Human Services President & CEO Chuck Sweeder were a part of Strategic Expansion Executive Retreat (SEER), an invitation-only gathering for chief executives of the country’s largest intellectual and developmental disability providers. Partnership conversations are the focus of the gathering.

"Mainstay and Keystone have set the example of how and when it's best to affiliate," commented Kim. "Our coming together last year has helped to normalize the conversation around affiliation to form a stronger organization together that best supports people as they live their best lives."

Kim and Chuck also attended the Behavioral Health Tech conference which this year was co-located with SEER in Nashville, TN.

🎣 A Day by the Water! 🌿

JJ recently spent a day enjoying one of his favorite activities—fishing! He headed to Dougherty Nature Trails in Etna, stopping for bait along the way before spending the afternoon by the water.

While the fish weren’t biting this time, JJ still had a great day enjoying the beautiful weather, fishing, and chatting with people along the busy trail. It was a simple, relaxing afternoon centered around something he loves! 💙
