Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are essential to helping people with intellectual disabilities and autism live and thrive in their communities.

The bipartisan Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act would establish a Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) for DSPs, helping policymakers better understand and address the workforce crisis affecting disability services.

📢 Please take action TODAY before the legislation is brought to a vote on 8/5!

As Disability Pride Month comes to a close, Mainstay celebrates the strength, resilience, and voices of people with disabilities—not just in July, but every day.

This month has been an opportunity to honor the disability community, challenge common myths with facts, and recognize the importance of removing barriers, creating opportunities, and ensuring that every person is valued and heard. While meaningful progress has been made, there's still work to do to build a world where everyone can fully participate and thrive.

Disability Pride doesn't end with the month. It continues through our vision, mission, values, and commitment to enriching lives and unlocking potential every day.

🎄✨ Christmas came early at Slippery Rock Campground!

Cindy invited Kathleen, Danielle, and Venus to her camp to celebrate Christmas in July. It was a festive day full of holiday cheer. They explored the beautifully decorated campground by golf cart, stopped for fun photos along the way, and wrapped up the afternoon with lunch at Cindy's camp. Plenty of merry memories were made together! ❤️🎅
