Krishna Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the beloved Hindu deity associated with divine love, wisdom, joy, and the triumph of dharma over injustice.
Observed on September 4, 2026, the sacred day is traditionally honored through fasting, prayer, devotional songs, temple gatherings, storytelling, and offerings made at midnight—the hour associated with Krishna’s birth. His flute, peacock feather, and love of butter remain joyful symbols of his divine presence.
May this Janmashtami inspire us to meet life with an open heart, act with purpose, and rediscover the sacredness of joy.
Happy Krishna Janmashtami.

From September 2–29, the modern Celtic Tree Calendar honors the Month of Vine—a time associated with growth, connection, resilience, insight, and transformation.
The vine reminds us that growth is rarely a straight path. It twists, reaches, adapts, and holds firmly to what supports it. As the season moves toward autumn, Vine invites us to recognize what has ripened, gather the wisdom of our experiences, and release what no longer nourishes us.
During this month, reflect on:
What is ready to be gathered?
Where are you being invited to grow?
What can you lovingly release?
May the Month of Vine help you honor your harvest and trust the path unfolding before you.
With the rain comes cozy vibes! At Minshara we know cozy. Come visit today!
No two Chrysanthemum Stones are ever quite alike. Their naturally formed, flower-like patterns bloom across the dark stone, creating the appearance of chrysanthemums frozen in time.
Often associated with transformation, harmony and discovering your unique path, Chrysanthemum Stone is a beautiful reminder that growth can unfold in unexpected places—and that becoming yourself is always worth celebrating.

Tonight’s sky invites us into a powerful moment of illumination, release, and change.
The Full Moon in Pisces arrives alongside a lunar eclipse, amplifying the emotional and intuitive energy of the Full Moon. Pisces asks us to move beyond what can be logically explained and pay attention to what we feel, sense, dream, and know.
Eclipse energy can reveal what has been hidden. With Uranus adding an element of surprise and awakening, realizations may arrive unexpectedly. Something may suddenly make sense. A pattern may become impossible to ignore. A direction you weren’t considering may begin to reveal itself.
Rather than forcing an outcome, this Full Moon asks:
What am I ready to release?
What truth am I finally willing to acknowledge?
Where am I being asked to trust rather than control?
Full Moons illuminate.
Eclipses accelerate change.
Pisces reminds us to trust the currents we cannot always see.
Release what has completed its purpose. Trust what is being revealed. Make space for what comes next.

Festival of Hecate • August 21
At the crossroads, we honor Hecate.
Hecate is an ancient Greek goddess of thresholds, crossroads, torches, keys, protection and transformation. She is a guardian of liminal spaces—the places between what was and what is yet to come—and a guide through times of uncertainty and change.
A note about the date:
August 21 is a modern Pagan/Hecatean observance, not a fixed festival date from ancient Greece. Hecate was honored in several ways in the ancient world, including Hecate’s Deipnon, observed monthly at the end of the lunar cycle. Modern spiritual traditions have developed additional days to celebrate and honor her, including the August observance recognized by many contemporary practitioners.
Whether you approach Hecate through ancient tradition or modern practice, her symbolism offers a powerful invitation:
Release what no longer serves you.
Reflect on the paths before you.
Seek guidance when the way is uncertain.
Trust yourself as you step across the threshold.
Light a candle, place a key on your altar, spend a moment considering the crossroads in your own life, or simply acknowledge the transitions that have brought you to where you are today.
May Hecate’s torches illuminate the path ahead.
