Food is always evolving.

For a Việt Kiều, there is no single definition of what “authentic” Vietnamese food is. Our food carries the places we’ve lived, the people who raised us, the ingredients we had access to, and the cultures we’ve encountered along the way.

That’s what makes food so beautiful.

It isn’t about preserving some perfect, untouched version of a dish. It’s about what happens when a dish becomes part of your life—when memory, migration, family, culture, and experience find their way onto a plate.

Food becomes a reflection of where we’ve been and who we’ve become.

And maybe that’s the most authentic thing of all.

Food is the way I share my story both past and present.

We’re excited for Fall! Cozy treats coming soon!

We have been extremely busy this Summer so much that we quietly turned 6 years old at the end of May! We are celebrating with those joined our monthly bakery and provisions box (sign ups end at the end of the month and the link is in the bio to sign up )!!

Our small and tiny team entered in our Bánh shop era this Summer! This is where I’ve always envisioned for us to be and we’re so glad we’re here.

Last weekend was the last push for one of our biggest events this Summer. We made 1,400 in buns and hundreds of doughnuts as well as fulfilled our normal day to day with our amazing wholesale partners!

I’m so thankful for the HeyDay team and what we did this Summer! Can’t wait to end this season strong!

We have so much planned in the next few months and we can’t wait to share everything with you!
