✨ CUSTOM DESIGN. SMART SOLUTION. ✨
Not every space works with traditional closet doors and that’s where custom makes all the difference! These beautiful white Shaker-style barn doors were designed for a closet with limited wall space. Since there wasn’t enough room on both sides for the doors to slide open, we created a system that allows the homeowner to access one half of the closet at a time, while both doors slide to the same side.
Clean, classic and incredibly functional. This is what we love about custom work finding a solution that fits the space without sacrificing style.
Have a tricky doorway or closet? JonDorr can create a custom solution designed specifically for your home.

Are Barn Doors Going Out of Style? We Don’t Think So.

As custom barn door builders, from time to time we hear that “barn doors are trending out.” But we respectfully disagree. In fact, even at the 2026 Street of Dreams, three different homes featured barn doors—proof that this versatile design continues to have a place in today’s homes.

The beauty of a custom barn door is that it can be so much more than a door. With the right wood, design, finish, and hardware, it becomes a functional piece of art adding character, warmth, and personality while also providing a practical solution for your space.

Trends may come and go, but beautiful craftsmanship and functional design never go out of style.

Give JonDorr a call today and let us create a custom barn door that brings a little “Street of Dreams” detail into your own home.

CUSTOM CRAFTSMANSHIP THAT MAKES A STATEMENT

Our Modèle Carré is more than a barn door—it’s functional art. Each individual wood square is hand-cut and carefully placed to create the incredible raised, textured pattern you see here. The depth and movement of the wood completely changes depending on the light and the angle.

For this home office, we created a bi-parting design, giving the homeowners a dramatic entrance while still providing privacy when the doors are closed. And we love that the reverse side has a completely different, clean and timeless look.

Handcrafted and custom built by JonDorr, because sometimes a door shouldn’t just close a room—it should transform it.

Custom. Unique. Functional Art.

These custom 4 panel slatted barn doors, handcrafted from beautiful natural knotty alder, make a striking statement while maintaining a light, open feel. The glass panels allow natural sunlight to flow between rooms, brightening your space without sacrificing privacy.

With their clean lines, warm wood tones, and contemporary design, these doors are the perfect blend of function and style for today's homes.

Every JonDorr door is custom-built to fit your space, your style, and your vision creating functional art that will be enjoyed for years to come.
