MVPR is a human rights organization dedicated to promoting a just peace with full human rights for all people in Israel-Palestine.

Maine Voices for Palestinian Rights works to support nonviolent efforts toward an end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and to recognize political and human rights and dignity for all Palestinian people. We also seek to achieve a mutually agreeable resolution to the injustice done to the Palestinians expelled from their ancestral homes. To accomplish these goals, we work through educational outreach to make vital information accessible and through fund raising to support humanitarian aid for Palestinians. MVPR believes that a lasting peace will come when all people in Palestine and Israel enjoy security, prosperity, justice and respect. We provide speakers, show films, meet with Maine’s Congressional members and contact local media in our efforts to move beyond conflict to a just peace.

Neither Sens. King nor Collins have co-sponsored SR 852 - write or call their offices.

Over 20 Senate Democrats introduced S.Res.852 to demand an official U.S. investigation into human rights abuses in the West Bank.

Since 2022, at least nine American citizens have been killed, while unchecked settler violence and the abuse of CHILDREN in military detention continue to escalate.

Enough is enough.

Maine Democratic Senate candidate Troy Jackson says that if elected to the U.S. Senate, he will work to end American military aid to Israel. “When I get to the Senate, I’m going to do everything in my power to stop the killing,” Jackson said while discussing the war in Gaza and U.S. policy toward Israel. After Benjamin Netanyahu, who I believe is a war criminal, just came and went from New York, I’ve been thinking a lot about the world my first granddaughter is about to enter.

No child should have to grow up wondering whether the next bomb is going to hit their home. No parent should have to wonder whether they can feed their kid or keep them alive. And American taxpayer dollars should not be used to keep fueling that suffering.

Susan Collins has voted again and again to send billions in military aid to Israel throughout this war. She’s part of the same broken Washington system that keeps funding these conflicts while working people here get screwed.

When I get to the United States Senate, I’m going to do everything in my power to stop the killing, get humanitarian aid to the people who need it, and stop writing blank checks for endless wars.

I've been clear where I stand since Day One, and Mainers can check my website to see where I stand.
