Notes on a Manufactured Lover

The Pursuit Itself Becomes the Confession Explore how our pursuits reveal deeper insecurities and the Stoic wisdom of finding peace beyond external validation.

The Credence Frequency – An Evolving Story by T.A Hoyt
Before I wrote the piece below, someone asked me a simple question while working on artwork for the cover of my book: “What is The Credence Frequency actually about?” And the truth is, I realized I had never answered that directly. Not really. I could explain the characters. I could explain the story. I could talk about Athena and Nash, the lake house, the coffee shops, the conversations, the tension, the history, the recognition between two people who keep finding each other at the edges of their lives. Wanted Without Possession
I wrote this as my Saturday morning thought…. I do not measure love by titles. Not by boyfriend, not by husband, not by anything that asks to be named before it is understood. There is something rare about being chosen by someone who simply comes toward you because they want to, because the pull is real, because the care is deliberate. A connection that is deeply mutual, fiercely private, and untouched by the noise of expectation. To love each other fully, to remain sovereign in your own lives, and still return to one another by desire rather than obligation…...
