Emily Rose Photography

I express my love for the world around me through a lens. How I feel without my camera: Naked. Every time I see something beautiful, I want to express it through a photograph. Words are not my strong suit, but reliving a moment through a camera is something I can do. I still remember my first 35mm camera: yellow, like sunshine. Since then, my gear has become a little more advanced, but my curiosity for the world is still simple and genuine. I also enjoy people. People are fun! Every person has a unique characteristic or quirk that makes them who they are. I desire to capture that in each photograph. I love giving a natural and carefree feeling to my photography, and take photographs in the same way. A few things I love:
Good food and wine. Any type, but preferably with friends. As a rule, it is scarce in the northwest, so I soak it up when I can. Hiking. The view from a mountain peak is always worth it. Blueberries. I cannot ever get enough! And of course, my love, Nathan.
