What do you picture when you hear the words “think tank”? 🤔
At Wellbeing Think Tank, experts are an important part of the conversation, but they aren't the only voices in the room.
We bring experts into our community for our educational events. Then, through our community of practice, we come together to question, discuss, and explore how those ideas show up in the real world.
WTT Connected is where the Think Tank truly comes to life.
Today, our members continued our Q3 conversation about making data work. We talked about what we’re measuring, what we’re missing, how organizations respond to what they hear, and what it takes to turn employee feedback into meaningful action.
Our Q3 Community Insights Guide will be out soon, and we appreciate everyone who contributed to the conversation, including those who didn't make it into today's photo. 💜
Want to be part of the next conversation?
WTT Connected is included with Professional and Practitioner access. Community Members may request to join one Connected meeting before deciding whether to upgrade.

We’ll continue this quarter’s conversation about Making Data Work, and members can bring their questions and experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
WTT Connected is a benefit for members with Professional and Practitioner access, but if you’ve been curious about the experience, we invite Community members to attend one WTT Connected session before upgrading.

“Start with that employee voice, not a program calendar.” - Kat Remner
“Wellbeing doesn’t have to live within the wellness department to be part of the wellbeing strategy.” - Steffani Sanchez
More than 100 HR, employee engagement, and workplace wellbeing professionals joined us for our latest Wellbeing Think Tank event focused on building a culture of wellbeing through collaboration, data, and creativity.
A huge thank you to Kat and Steffani from Valley Children's Healthcare for sharing such a practical and thoughtful look at how their team is approaching this work.
A culture of wellbeing isn’t created by one event or initiative. It's shaped through the everyday experiences we create and ensuring our workforce feels seen, heard and valued.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared in the chat, asked questions, and brought your own experience into the conversation. This is exactly what makes WTT a community where we’re creating cultures of wellbeing, together.

Good ideas get stronger when they're informed by the people they're designed to support.
That's why we're asking workers to help us better understand their experiences with workplace surveys. Our first Wellbeing Think Tank Workforce Perspectives survey explores employee listening, trust, and what happens after feedback is collected.
If you've completed an employee engagement, culture, or wellbeing survey within the past two years, we'd love to hear from you. The survey is anonymous and takes about five minutes. https://www.surveyhero.com/c/q3survey
And for professionals ready to dig deeper, members with Professional and Practitioner access can join us next month for WTT Connected: Making Data Work in Practice, where we'll explore how practitioners are collecting, interpreting, and using wellbeing data in their organizations.
Help us elevate the voices of today's workforce and learn from what they're telling us.

What if your workplace wellbeing dashboard is accurate, but still incomplete?
A mental health platform may show strong registrations, high webinar attendance, and positive satisfaction scores. But if overtime is rising, stress-related leave is increasing, supervisors are leaving, or one team has stopped responding to surveys, the full story may be more complicated.
In our latest blog authored by Christina Pate, PhD, we explore why workplace wellbeing data needs interpretation, not just collection. Participation metrics, averages, and satisfaction scores can be useful, but they should be viewed alongside working conditions, missing voices, leading indicators, and the deeper story behind the numbers.
Because better data is not just about what we measure. It is about whether we are asking the right questions before we act.

Our 2027 Call for Proposals is open and if you are wondering if this opportunity is right for you, then join us for our information session on Wednesday, August 19 at 11:00 am PT.
We’ll share what we’re looking for, program opportunities, and what makes a strong proposal.
First-time presenters are welcome and we especially want to hear from practitioners and educators with real expertise and applied experience in workplace wellbeing.
You don't need to be a professional speaker, what matters most is that you can help others learn from your experience. We're happy to provide additional support for new presenters.

Trust is shaped by what happens after employees speak up.
When organizations acknowledge feedback, communicate what they learned, and explain what happens next, employees are more likely to believe their input matters. Closing the feedback loop helps turn listening into trust.
Our next event is this Thursday, August 20. Join Kat Remner and Steffani Sanchez as they share how Valley Children's Healthcare used collaboration, employee feedback, and creativity to strengthen their culture of wellbeing.
Join the Wellbeing Think Tank community to register. Professional and Practitioner members also receive exclusive implementation resources designed to help turn ideas into action.
