Cancelled - Katahdin Con - Cancelled
Katahdin Con is Maine’s newest tabletop gaming convention! Where dice roll, stories turn legendary, and new friends are made.
Come enjoy RPGs, vendors, and endless action in downtown Portland, ME. Whether you play or run games, this convention is for you!
Good afternoon friends, It breaks my heart to share this, but, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Katahdin Con 2026.
Despite an incredible amount of support from the gaming community, we weren't able to reach the badge sales needed by this point to continue forward with the convention.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who bought badges, applied to run games, reserved vendor space, volunteered, sponsored the event, or simply believed in the vision. Your support has meant the world to me.
All badge holders, vendors, and sponsors have already been contacted directly via email or private message regarding refunds and next steps.
Thank you for believing in Katahdin Con.

This person is much more than just an attendee, it's a Special Guest that I have had the pleasure of being friends with over the last 5-6 years.
This Special Guest is none other than the highly-talented, and all around awesome human being, Diogo Nogueira!!!

Prior to joining White Wolf Publishing, Diogo won the Gold Medal for Best Adventure at the 2021 Ennie’s for his Old-School Essentials Module, Halls of the Blood King! Diogo is a game creator, artist and graphic designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and his creations combine modern game design techniques with classic and pulpy inspiration.
In 2016 he published his first RPG, Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells. Today Old Skull Publishing has published seven complete games, and a number of supplements to support them. (Link to Old-Skull Publishing in the comments)
Additionally, Diogo works as an illustrator and graphic designer for his own games and other author’s projects, having worked for North Wind Games, Bloat Games, Appendix N Entertainment, Skeeter Green Publishing, Shield of Faith Studios, Magpie Games and many others.

Michael Greer is more than the official convention artist for Katahdin Con. He has been the driving force in helping shape the entire visual identity of the show from the ground up. His artwork has given Katahdin Con a visual soul, bringing Maine-inspired fantasy art, and convention energy together in a way that feels bold, memorable, and unmistakably ours. The impact he has had on the convention is hard to overstate, and that is exactly why we are proud to name Michael Greer as the Katahdin Con Guest of Honor.
Michael has been creating artwork in the RPG space for roughly six years, with credits including Silver Bulette, Skeeter Green Productions, Troy City Mysteries, Dandyline Games, and BRW Games.
Like many players, his time with RPGs drifted after college, but the pandemic brought him back to the table and reignited his connection to the hobby. Since then, he has stayed firmly rooted in the world of tabletop games, contributing his talent, imagination, and unmistakable artistic voice to the community. At Katahdin Con, his work is not just decoration. It is part of the foundation.
Thank you my friend, and thank you Chet Minton-Artist for introducing us!

Vendor Applications are CLOSED...for now! If you have gotten an approval notification, you will still be able to purchase a vendor table.
Over the next few days I'll be working on a list to publish with all the vendors we currently have on the Katahdin Con Website (link in comments.)
If I may say so myself, it's a stellar list of vendors; I hope you will think so too!
