I have always been able to see line, space & composition. My mother gave me the permission to dream big and I did. I was a professional ballet dancer by the age of 15. I’m a county girl who found her way to the “big” city of Portland Oregon. I know dedication and hard work. I am a good listener, that’s why I’m quiet. I love meeting new people and am inspired by their stories. I paint in with watercolor, acrylic mixed media and wax (encaustic). I create paintings for clients to be enjoyed in a small corner or take center stage.

I’ve been practicing drawing for the last few days. Dogs are my favorite subject at the moment. I haven’t done much drawing since I was a kid in grade school. Practice, practice…this is one of the better ones so far. Her name is Olivia 🐶

I have an amaryllis blooming on my back porch. I tried getting it to bloom at Christmas/New Years last year, but it decided July was the time to bloom instead. 🌺

It’s January and my angel trumpet is in full bloom. Crazy! I’ve never seen this before and I’ve grown them for many years.
