Spend the morning learning the basics of lino block printing with Kady Underwood. You’ll design, carve, and print your own reusable block, then use it to make a stack of hand-printed greeting cards.

A fun, beginner-friendly introduction to printmaking and a great excuse to make some cards for your people!

Come spend a laid-back Saturday evening getting your hands on some clay. Try the pottery wheel, experiment, make some questionable shapes, and have fun with it.

Whether it’s your first time at the wheel or your fiftieth, this is a relaxed, judgment-free workshop for all levels.

TEEN WHEEL STARTS THIS FRIDAY NIGHT! ✨

If your teen has been wanting to try the pottery wheel, this is a great place to start. Over 8 weeks, Elycia Castaneda will introduce young potters ages 12–16 to the basics of wheel throwing, with plenty of time to practice, experiment, and make some really cool pots along the way.

No experience needed. Drop-off optional! Reach out for tuition assistance.

We loved meeting new people, getting kids’ hands into clay, and sharing a little wheel-throwing magic with the community. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, made a pot, or just said hello.

And we got a jump on our annual Soup-A-Bowl drive, making 32 bowls while we were there!

New classes + workshops are LIVE online! ✨

Our next session is here, with eight-week clay classes starting in October along with a handful of one-day workshops.

This is a great time of year to get a jump on making your holiday gifts, try something new, spend a little less time on screens and a little more time making things with your hands. And don’t just stop at clay - check out our textiles and printmaking offerings, too!

We had a great summer at Fall Kill that was highlighted by eight Fridays of Teen & Family Clay, a program that brought so many awesome kids through the studio. We made some cool stuff, a big mess, and had a lot of fun along the way.

Now that school is in session, we’re bringing back monthly Clay Lab! This Saturday, September 12, kids ages 8–16 can drop off for a morning of handbuilding, this time making their own face mugs. $35 per person.

Come back and see us, and make a weird little mug with us!

We’re so excited to partner with The Preserve at Vassar and the Environmental Cooperative for their monthly Eco Art Workshop! 🌿

Join us Sunday, September 20 from 2–4PM for a family-friendly afternoon of clay and nature. We’ll take a short walk on the Preserve’s trails to learn about native plants and gather inspiration, then head to the Vassar Barn to press plants into clay, creating beautiful & functional works of art.

All clay materials are provided by Fall Kill Creative Works. Donations to support our work are encouraged!
