Every time I go for a walk, I’m amazed to see these young athletes out here grinding, practicing, and putting in the work to get better. 💪🏽🏆
But there’s something else I see that doesn’t get talked about nearly enough: the parents and volunteer coaches behind them.
Parents who have worked a full day, are tired themselves, and still make sure their kids get to practice. Sitting through the heat, the cold, the long practices, and the late nights—all because they believe in their kids and want to give them every opportunity to succeed.
And the volunteer coaches who give up their evenings and weekends to teach, encourage, mentor, and pour into our youth. Most of the time, they’re doing it simply because they care.
Youth sports aren’t possible without you.
So while we celebrate these young athletes for putting in the work, I want to take a moment to celebrate the people standing behind them.
To the parents and coaches showing up day after day—THANK YOU. Your commitment matters more than you know.
