Anxiety can be protective, but sometimes that alarm gets a little too sensitive.

And sometimes, what looks like “just anxiety” may be connected to something more. OCD doesn’t always look the way we expect

Suicidal thoughts can be complicated. A person may not truly want their life to end—they may desperately want the pain, hopelessness, or exhaustion to end and struggle to see another way forward.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Su***de affects people of all ages and backgrounds, and understanding the facts can help us have more informed conversations.

🌎 More than 720,000 people die by su***de worldwide each year, and for every su***de, there are many more attempts.

📱 The way su***de is discussed in the media and online matters, too. Research and public health guidance indicate that sensationalized, repeated, or detailed reporting can increase the risk of su***de contagion. Responsible messaging can instead encourage help-seeking and connect people with support.

💛 If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of su***de, you don’t have to handle it alone. In the U.S., call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Su***de prevention doesn’t always look like a crisis intervention. Sometimes, it looks like checking in, making plans, listening, or simply reminding someone that they matter 💛

You never know what a small moment of connection might mean to someone.

Asking someone if they’re thinking about su***de does not increase their risk—it can open the door to an important conversation. Sometimes, asking directly is one of the most supportive things you can do.

Today, we remember the lives lost and the courage, compassion, and resilience shown in the days that followed September 11, 2001.

We honor those who were impacted and remember the importance of coming together to support one another. 🤍

Suicidal thoughts can come from a place of feeling overwhelmed, trapped, or unable to see a way through—not always from a desire to die.

Taking someone seriously doesn’t require having the perfect words. Sometimes, listening without judgment and helping someone connect with support is the most important place to start.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Intense emotions can feel permanent when you’re in the middle of them, but emotions move. Like a wave, they rise, reach a peak, and eventually come back down.

You don’t have to solve everything in the hardest moment. Sometimes the next step is simply staying with yourself until the wave passes.💛

BDD can make appearance-related thoughts feel incredibly consuming—but it’s more than simply feeling insecure about how you look.

In this Reel, Annabella Hagen, founder of Mindset Family Therapy, breaks down what Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) can look like and why understanding it matters.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available.

Su***de can affect people from all walks of life, and sometimes the people who are struggling most are the ones who hide it best. This month, let’s make space for honest conversations, check in on the people we love, and remind each other that asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.

If you’re struggling, you don’t have to carry it alone. Share it with someone who may need it, and don’t be afraid to reach out. 🫶
