After spending the weekend evaluating teams from across North Carolina, one thing became clear: There is no clear favorite. But there are a handful of teams that separated themselves from the pack and proved they have what it takes to make serious runs this season:

Mooresville may have made the biggest splash of the offseason. Sherrod McCormick III and Xavier Hall form one of the most intriguing young duos in North Carolina. If those two continue to develop, another deep playoff run could be on the horizon.
