❤️ Another journey home. Another family reunited.
Today, someone AmPowering has been supporting reached home—across borders and thousands of miles, back to the safety and comfort of loved ones.
We will not share their identity or personal circumstances. Their story belongs to them. Their dignity and privacy come first.
At AmPowering, our work often begins when someone is at one of the most vulnerable points in life—facing homelessness or near-homelessness, domestic violence, mental health challenges, trauma or other difficult circumstances.
Sometimes helping means food or temporary shelter. And sometimes, it means finding a way home.
When home is across seven seas, the journey is rarely as simple as purchasing a flight ticket. It can take searching for family, building trust, coordinating across countries, navigating complex circumstances and refusing to give up when the path seems impossible.
There are moments of uncertainty and exhaustion. But we have learned that empathy must always be stronger than frustration.
And then comes the message that makes every difficult moment worthwhile:
“Reached home.” ❤️
No recognition or testimonial can compare to knowing that someone is finally safe and surrounded by people who care.
This is the heart of AmPowering—meeting people where they are and helping create a bridge toward safety, belonging and hope.
This homecoming was another beautiful team effort. Our heartfelt appreciation to Saloni Bhatia, Ashish Keshwani and Avani Desai, and everyone who quietly works behind the scenes to make journeys like this possible.
Different hands. One heart. One purpose.
May we continue helping more people find their way home—
one person, one family, one homecoming at a time. 🏡❤️

Amplify Change Maker Panel 🎙️💡
This panel was an amazing conversation on leadership, purpose, and social impact. We uncovered so many important insights on how large corporations and organizations can come together to amplify community impact. Large corporations such as Microsoft have huge impacts on communities, and when bridges are built between grassroots organizations like AmPowering, we can multiply community efforts and continue to reach more people in need 🌎

A Heartfelt Thank You to Charities for a Successful Annual 5K Walkathon! 🙏💕
On behalf of AmPowering, we extend our deepest gratitude to BAPS Charities for organizing another incredible Annual 5K Walkathon that brought our community together in the spirit of service, wellness, and compassion.
Starting from Redmond City Hall and culminating at the beautiful BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, the event was a true celebration of community unity. We are especially humbled and honored that this year’s walkathon was dedicated as a fundraiser for AmPowering, helping us continue our mission of serving vulnerable communities through programs focused on food security, homelessness, women empowerment, and humanitarian outreach.
We were privileged to be joined by many distinguished leaders and community champions, including:

It was truly heartwarming to witness 500 plus participants of all ages - from enthusiastic young children to inspiring seniors - walking side by side with energy, purpose, and smiles. Their participation beautifully reflected the strength, diversity, and generosity of our community.
Every step taken during this walk was a step for community, humanity, health, and hope. ❤️
Together, we demonstrated that when people unite for a common cause, we can create meaningful change and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Team AmPowering at the Global Beauty Awards!! ✨🏆
Yet another successful year for our team at the "Oscars of Pageantry": The Global Beauty Awards!
Our President & Founder, Menka Soni was honored and humbled to receive the Best Non-Profit Award, celebrating AmPowering's efforts feeding over 2500 homeless a week, providing interim shelters to those in need, and supporting & uplifting communities 🫶🏽🙏🏽
Our team was also awarded the People's Choice Awards: Ashish Keshwani, Gunjan Desai, Divya Hajari, and Saanvi Bhatia. thank you to those that voted for them & supported team AmPowering!
