Her work has been featured on several online publications including Soap Opera Central, and Consumer Review.com. In 2008 she was a contributor for question development with New Play Media in their creation of an online Soap Opera Trivia Game. The documentary The Last Swing (2017 showcased,) the participation of this author and she can be seen in a 2019 episode of the Oxygen channel’s television series Criminal Confessions. The rain has been tapping against the windows all afternoon, that soft, steady rhythm the Pacific Northwest seems to know by heart. There’s a quiet beauty in it — the way each drop streaks down the glass, blurring the world outside just enough to make everything feel gentler, slower, more intentional.
Sitting here, listening to the rain fall, it feels like the day is offering a small pause. A moment to breathe. A moment to let the sound wrap around you like a familiar blanket. There’s comfort in the simplicity of it — no rush, no noise, just the soothing cadence of water meeting glass.
It’s funny how something so ordinary can feel like a tiny gift. A reminder that even in the middle of a busy week, there are pockets of calm waiting to be noticed. And today, it’s right here in the rain, singing its quiet little song against the window.
Friday in the Pacific Northwest always feels like a little exhale — that sweet moment when the week loosens its grip and the sky decides to show off. There’s something about the way the light hits the evergreens, the way the air smells like coffee and possibility, that makes you feel like you’re stepping into something good.
