The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce is back at it again this year with the 2026 Brewathlon Pong & Co****le Tournament. We are fundraising to support Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico and their upcoming Washington D.C. trip. Your support provides a war veteran with an all-expense trip to visit a memorial that is dedicated to their service in the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Wars. Come and join me next Saturday June 6th from 3pm-6pm at Brew Lab 101 Beer & Cider Co. in Rio Rancho.

Fractions can feel confusing, but when your kiddo can SEE the fraction, they understand them better. I like to use this chart to teach which fractions are equal.

Fractions are about size not just the numbers. The fractions that line up on the chart, are equal. They may be different numbers, but they are the same amount. For example, 1/2 is the same as 2/4, 3/6, 4/8, 5/10, and 6/12.

One of my incredibly hard-working students has officially graduated from my tutoring program - they now have the tools and confidence to take charge of their own learning. Which means they now have the skills necessary for long term success! 💪

There were moments where they truly doubted their abilities, and there were days where I pushed them a little further on the things I KNEW they were capable of more than they believed. It was in those moments that their trust in me allowed them to show up time and time again.

So now, with a heart full of joy...I get to welcome a new kiddo who is ready to grow!
