The Place Where Community and Art meet! We offer music, theater, and art programs for all ages. You heard me, right here in Rio Rancho! But we cannot do it alone.
Founded in 2013, Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads (RRCC) is Rio Rancho's only multi-discipline community arts organization. Founded in 2013, Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads' (RRCC) mission is to bring high quality, reasonably priced cultural art to Rio Rancho. We focus on finding ways to introduce our members and our community to bigger, bolder, different, extraordinary artistic experiences you would never expect to get in Rio Rancho. You may not recognize the name Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads because you may know us by one of our program names. We have 2 chorale programs, Rio Rancho Youth Chorus and our advance chorus, Encore. Rio Rancho Players Community Theater is our all ages, all are welcome, theater group. We are also GenerARTistry, which helps local talents produce their art in an easily consumable fashion so they can use their gifts to gift their community. Our first project is called The Squeaky Shoes project. We helped local author Debbie Coston make a coloring book version of her story Stanley and the Squeaky Shoes and we will help her realize her passion, making sure every kid has a new pair of shoes for their 1st day of school. So if you are a lover of the arts, then JOIN US! RRCC is ready, willing, and able to build a diverse and thriving arts community inside our city limits. We need your help. We are always looking to partner with local businesses for sponsorship and support. We also collaborate/partner with non-profit organizations to create new experiences across different audiences.

🔥 What stories are waiting around the campfire?
Some you may have heard before. Some might be completely new. And some might make you think twice the next time you’re sitting around a fire after dark. 👻
Around the Campfire brings together a collection of ghost stories, urban legends and spooky tales like The Hook, The Green Ribbon, The Bride and La Llorona...some are quick chills, while others give you a little more time to settle in and wonder what’s lurking in the shadows.

So what exactly is Around the Campfire?
Imagine a summer camp after dark. The campers, cabin leaders, camp director, camp owner and other camp staff all gather around the fire, and someone starts telling ghost stories.
Throughout the night, they share spooky tales, like The Hook or La Llorona, while the stories come to life around them.
It’s a live theatre experience just in time for spooky season.

Curious about Gather but not sure what to expect? Gather is a relaxed, self-guided afternoon where you can drink some tea, play with art supplies, make something (or just experiment!), and best of all? You don’t have to clean up afterward.

We're excited to introduce Kids Art Club, a creative space for young artists ages 7–12 to explore, experiment, and have fun making art.
Our first four-week session will dive into drawing, with a new creative adventure each week. Kids will explore contour drawing, scribble drawing, large-scale ink drawing, and oil pastel.
Saturdays | 11 AM–12 PM | Ages 7–12

Gather ’round the fire… if you dare.
This October, Rio Rancho Players invites you to Around the Campfire, a live theatre experience where ghost stories step out of the shadows.
Hear haunting tales told around the campfire while performers bring them to life around you. Add a costume contest, a few unexpected chills, and you’ve got a spooky-season night that’s a little different from your usual trip to the haunted house.
