GavMan hit the track last night at our home track North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) and got some more laps under his belt!

Josh took a well-earned night off after spending every single day at a racetrack for the last TWO WEEKS straight! 😅🏁 Safe to say he’s earned a little break!

We’re coming down to the wire on the summer racing season — ONE MORE Summer Series race next week! 🔥

Time to finish it out strong! 💙🏁

Round 10 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is officially in the books! 🏁

Josh came into the final round wanting to finish the Summer Shootout strong, and he did just that! He laid down some of his fastest practice laps of the series and backed it up with some really solid qualifying lap times!

The beginning of the race got a little rough for a couple competitors, and Josh was able to capitalize and work his way to the FRONT — leading a couple laps! 💙🏁

Unfortunately, that didn’t last as long as we would’ve liked. A spin sent him toward the back, but Josh put his head down and went right back to work, fighting his way forward and gaining as many positions as he could before the race eventually timed out.

Proud of the speed, the progress, and the fight he showed all night! Every lap at Charlotte has been another opportunity to learn and get better in his first bandit series!

A HUGE thank you to our AK Performance family for giving Josh a FAST hot rod and for all the support both on and off the track! We couldn’t ask for a better group of people in our corner! 💙

Race 9 of the Summer Shootout was one of my best races of the series! No DNF’s or damage to the car!

Qualifying didn't go the way we wanted, but once the green flag dropped I focused on staying out of the chaos, avoiding the spin-outs, and driving as hard as I could every lap.

I worked my way from P10 up to P5 for a few laps and brought it home with a P6 finish! We're continuing to improve every week, and that's something to be proud of.

A huge thank you to AK Performance for all of the support and for giving me a great race car. I couldn't do it without you!

Just one more race left to wrap up the Summer Shootout series. Let's finish strong! 💪🏁

What a way to finish Hyper Speedweeks!

Somehow, both boys survived the last race of the week!

Gavin got tipped over early, but never gave up. Josh had to avoid a wreck by launching through the infield and jumping a mini pond... a true Dukes of Hazzard moment! 🤣🏁

The best part? Both boys finished the feature and BOTH brought home payout money!

We're especially proud of GavMan for earning his very first race payout! Moments like these are what all the hard work is about.

Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us throughout Hyper Speedweeks. Special thanks to Wil for spending his week with us on this last minute trip, mom will definitely be partaking on the next trip to help😆 Time to get everything cleaned up and ready for the next one!
