Our rainy racing adventures continued last night. We ran from the green radar at Action Track USA when it was called at 5pm, and chased the green flag at McGrewBid Motoplex….arriving at 6:35 with hot laps at 7. They were so kind to switch the running order and give us a few extra minutes, but it didn’t give enough time to put eyes on the track.

Gabe fought a tight car in hot laps and his heat, but they kept adjusting. By the feature he was tuned up, but had to go to work…and he did. He raced his way to P8. Had a little misjudgment on the restart with 1 to go and landed on his side. With attrition, he still managed a P8 finish….overall not a bad night.

Also not a bad night when you are surprised by friends from NY racing there too!!!!

A 12:30am stop at the car wash (so. much. mud), some hotel parking lot work this morning, and we’re headed off again today! Stay tuned…..

Time to chase another feature win with Gabe Yacono!

We took on two brand-new tracks to run the JBR A Class this weekend, Miami County Raceway and US 24 Speedway US 24. We rolled in and immediately found the speed, going P3-P1 in the heat races both nights!

The main events brought a mix of racing luck. We suffered a part failure while running up front in night 1, forcing an early exit. But we bounced back hard night 2 to bring home a solid P5 finish!

Racing at new venues is always a massive learning opportunity. Figuring out different dirt conditions and track shapes so quickly taught us a ton, and it is only going to make our notebook stronger for the future.
