GSM = grams per square meter. It's the weight measurement.

Here's why both matter:

→ Thread count = how tightly the fabric is woven
→ GSM = how heavy and substantial the fabric feels

Thread count tells you the weave. GSM tells you the weight. Together, they give you the full picture.
