The Planning Committee will meet next week to begin working through event details. If you are interested in helping with the planning committee, please reach out to us at [email protected].

🎒Student Appreciation
Each student received a "You Blow Our Mind" note paired with blow pop last week.
Teacher Appreciation
The PTO hosted Breakfast with the Board before the start of the school year. Board members were able to serve breakfast to the staff and have meaningful conversations about the previous school year and plans for the upcoming year.
The event was a great success, and the board enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the staff.

🏀 Campus & Project Updates
Basketball Court:
The PTO highlighted the summer project of painting games and activities on the basketball court. The project was sponsored by Sherwin-Williams.

🚘 Back Drive:
The lines in the back drive were also painted. This project was sponsored by Hall Real Estate and Don Hall Construction.

🚸Crosswalk:
The board continued discussions regarding the possibility of adding an additional crosswalk across Keaton Road. More to come regarding this.

👋 Volunteer Opportunities
The 5th grade brought forward a discussion about creating additional volunteer opportunities specifically for 5th-grade students.
Ideas discussed included:
-Helping younger students around school
-Volunteer opportunities after school
-Creating age-appropriate ways for 5th graders to give back to the campus

🍭💜 August Student Appreciation! 💛🍭

We hope this school year BLOWS you away! 🤩 CCE PTO loved treating our students to a little something sweet to kick off the year!

Here’s to an amazing year, CCE! 💜💛

Our Student/Staff Appreciation Team Rocks! We even had our little helpers to join the prep fun 🫶🏻

💜💛 See a need. Find a way. Make it happen. 💛💜

Our CCE PTO team noticed a need for a safer way for students walking from the nearby neighborhood to cross over to our school and they got to work! 👏🏻

After working with the City, we’re so thankful to now have a designated crosswalk and new signage in place to help keep our students safe. 🚸

And it doesn’t stop there! Members of our PTO team are also volunteering their mornings as crossing guards, helping our kiddos safely make their way to school. 🥹💜

This is what community is all about… seeing a need, working together, and making a difference for our kids. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who helped make this happen! 💛💜 If you have an interest in volunteering your time during drop off please email us! [email protected]

First meeting tomorrow! We hope to see you there 💜

Every little bit of magic starts with someone willing to help. Join us at our first PTO meeting and see how you can make a difference this year! ✨
