Do you love early childhood AND the outdoors? We have a feeling this is your job. 🌿

Nature Rangers is looking for an Early Childhood Program Director to lead Little Rangers, our outdoor early childhood program. This is a hands-on role for someone who believes a fallen log can build confidence, a muddy puddle can inspire discovery, and meaningful learning happens through play, movement, and exploration.

Part time · M, W, TH & F · 8:15 to 12:15 PM
$27 to $28 per hour DOE
ECE certification or degree required

No previous Program Director experience needed. We welcome preschool teachers, lead teachers, and early childhood educators ready to step into greater leadership.

Little Rangers is our outdoor program for ages 2 to 4, and it is exactly what early childhood should feel like.

Nature exploration.
Songs and movement.
Nature crafts.
Sensory play.
Bug and wildlife discovery.
Imaginative outdoor play.

All of it with a gentle 3:1 child-to-guide ratio so every little one feels seen.

Story time hits different under the trees. 🌿📖

There is something about being outside that makes a story feel more real. The rustling leaves become the wind in the tale. The shadows between the trees become the forest in the book. And tiny listeners who can barely sit still indoors are suddenly completely, magically present.

Never skip the water bottle. 💧🌿

It seems simple. But hydration is one of the biggest factors in how a child actually shows up outdoors.

No mid-trail slumps.
