ANOTHER HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Sometimes the perfect adoption story has a sequel… and this one has a VERY happy ending!

Meet Snow, the newest member of this 30A Cats family!

When this adopter first came to us, we matched her with Milo, now lovingly called Bleuy, after she unexpectedly lost her beloved Chai to a heart murmur. Bleuy was the perfect match at the time—but as he grew up, it became clear that he was a HIGH-ENERGY BOY with lots of opinions, lots of antics, and… let’s just say… a little too much enthusiasm for biting! 😂

His family realized he might benefit from a kitty roommate—a playmate who could keep up with him and give him a job!

Because his adopter also has significant allergies, we took our time searching for the right fit. We considered another Siamese and even a Russian Blue before we finally found Snow. And WOW… we think we nailed this one.

Snow has officially moved in, and Bleuy has discovered his new purpose in life: being a big brother!

He has a buddy to chase, wrestle, play with and keep busy—and suddenly, those naughty antics have been cut way down.

Remember single-kitty syndrome? Sometimes a young, energetic cat who seems like a handful isn’t looking for MORE attention from their humans… they’re looking for a JOB! A second cat can provide companionship, playtime and an outlet for all that kitten energy.

And for Bleuy, it looks like Snow was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Welcome home, Snow! We’re so happy you found your family—and Bleuy, we’re pretty sure you hit the jackpot too.

The last couple of days have been BUSY for 30A Cats!

19 — NINETEEN! — cats spayed/neutered in just TWO DAYS! 🤯👏
That’s a whole lot of cats getting one step closer to healthier, safer lives!

And this little guy + his sister are still a little too young for surgery, but we’re going to
see if they warm up enough to join our adoption queue!

From trapping to transport to vet appointments to fostering… it really does take a village. And we’re so grateful for ours. 🐱❤️

19 cats. 2 days. Countless volunteer hours. One big goal: fewer kittens born on the streets.

Meet Martini — shaken, not stirred!

This sweet little girl was found near 30A Cafe and came to us with an injured eye that unfortunately needed to be removed. But Martini is doing beautifully and is ready to find her cozy forever home.

Martini is a high-functioning special-needs kitty who prefers the finer things in life: a warm lap, gentle pets, and plenty of time to make biscuits. 🐾

She’s not really a toy-chasing girl, and she takes the world at her own pace — which may be partly due to her vision. We think she’ll be happiest in a quiet home with adults or older children who will let her settle in and show them just how sweet she is.

She may not be the wild-and-crazy kitten type… she’s more of a “sit beside me, pet me, and let me make biscuits” kind of girl. And honestly? We’re here for it. 🥰

SMUDGE IS COMING AROUND! And we couldn’t be happier!

Stubbs’ sister is finally showing us her kitten side! 🎉 Shari has been working hard with this beautiful girl, and we’re starting to see those little glimpses of personality, playfulness, and warmth we knew were in there.

Smudge and her brother Stubbs are both gorgeous tuxedos who have so much love to give. They just need someone patient and kind who will let them take their time, settle in, and show you who they really are.

BFFs are hard to come by, but Moonpie and Jasmine found theirs.

Like Ruth and Naomi, these two rescued each other.

Moonpie was nursing a litter of kittens when she was caught by a neighbor and taken to the county shelter. Jasmine, a sweet tortie from the same neighborhood, had just been spayed through 30ACats and was recovering.

Then 30ACats received a 911 call: Moonpie’s kittens had been found without their mama.

Jasmine immediately stepped in. She accepted the kittens and began nursing them as if they were her own.

30ACats rescued Moonpie from the county shelter and reunited her with her babies, but after everything she had been through, Moonpie was unable to nurse them. Jasmine continued feeding the kittens while also becoming Moonpie’s protector and best friend. She stayed close while Moonpie learned that being bathed, petted, fed, and cared for could be safe.

Now the kittens have all been adopted, and it is finally Moonpie and Jasmine’s turn.

Jasmine may be a tortie, but her “tortitude” is about as friendly as it gets! She greets everyone as though they are already her best friend.

Moonpie, our beautiful tuxedo girl, is still a little shy. But when the house gets quiet and her foster settles down, Moonpie comes close and gives the sweetest snuggles.

These girls have already carried each other through the hardest part of their lives. We would love for them to stay together for the next chapter.

We’re holding an adoption event and a supplies and cat food drive! We’ll have volunteers to answer your questions and we’d love to meet our locals share how you can help the community cats!

NEW KITTIES HAVE ARRIVED!

We’ve got some tiny new 30A Cats in the house! These little 8-week-old babies were found near a Chinese restaurant… so naturally, their names had to be inspired by their surroundings!

We’re not sure they’ll be ready for Saturday’s meet & greet at Kindness, but we couldn’t wait to introduce them!
