π A Heartfelt Thank You
Our hearts are full. π Thank you to Christ the King Episcopal Church and everyone who welcomed PWMC in to share about the work we do and the neighbors we serve.
We were especially moved by the children, who hosted a stuffed animal drive β each of them giving from their very own toy chests to create care bags for our pediatric patients. π§Έ These little bundles of comfort will greet our youngest patients when they come to the doctor, turning a nervous moment into one of warmth and reassurance.
There's something truly special about children caring for other children. These young hearts reminded us exactly what community looks like: showing up for one another and giving from a place of love. π
To the Christ the King family β thank you for your generosity, your hospitality, and for helping us bring a little extra comfort to the children in our care. You've made a difference that our young patients will feel for a long time to come. π

Every vote is free. Every vote helps keep our doors open. β€οΈ
Point Washington Medical Clinic has been selected as a featured nonprofit in the Target Circle Community Giving programβand that means you can help direct real funding to barrier-free, no-fee-for-service care right here in Walton County, just by doing something many of us already do: a Target run.
Here's how it works, start to finish:
1οΈβ£ Join Target Circleβit's free. Sign up in the Target app or at target.com/circle (no card or purchase required to join).
2οΈβ£ Shop at Target. You earn a vote with every trip.
3οΈβ£ Open Community Support in the app or online, find Point Washington Medical Clinic, and cast your vote.
4οΈβ£ Vote oftenβevery trip earns another vote, all the way through September 30.
π Not seeing us in your list? Set your preferred store to a local Panhandle ZIP code (like 32459), and we'll appear.
At the end of the campaign, Target awards grants based on the share of votes each nonprofit earnsβso the more of our neighbors who vote, the more support flows back into care for our community. For a clinic built for the community, by the community, this is exactly the kind of collective effort that makes us who we are.

πΏ Wellness Wednesday
This Wellness Wednesday, we're reflecting on what wellness really means to us at Point Washington Medical Clinic: a community where everyone can access free, high-quality care β no matter their means. π
A healthy community isn't built by one person. It's built by neighbors showing up for neighbors β and this summer, that included an incredible group of interns who gave their time, energy, and heart to our mission.
As they head back to college, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU. π You helped keep children in school, adults at work, and care within reach for the people who need it most. You lived out the belief that a stronger, healthier community is built together β and you made a real difference while you were here.
We'll miss you, we're proud of you, and we can't wait to see the good you'll do next. Go be well, and go do well. π

Five minutes. That's all it takes to check a young heart. β€οΈ
This Wellness Wednesday, we're sharing a community resource we're really glad is coming to Santa Rosa Beach. Our neighbors at Who We Play For are hosting an ECG heart screening for kids and young adults ages 10β25βthe kind of quick, painless screening that can catch hidden heart conditions before they ever cause harm.
Here's why it matters: sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death in student athletes, and most young people who experience it had no symptoms beforehand. An ECG is one of the few ways to catch these conditions early. It's non-invasive, takes about 5 minutes, and every screening is read by a board-certified pediatric cardiologist.
π Wednesday, July 29 Β· 1:00β6:00 PM
π 109 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach
π² $20 per student (ages 10β25 only)
π Register in advance at whoweplayfor.org (or scan the QR on the image)
This is especially timely: beginning with the 2026β27 school year, Florida's Second Chance Act will require high school athletes to complete an ECG before their first season. Getting ahead of it now means peace of mindβand one less thing on the back-to-school list.
Please help us spread the word to the families, coaches, and student athletes in your life. A few minutes today could protect a lifetime. For the community, by the community. Our care includes you. β€οΈ
