Almost finished with a customers repair on a vintage Lamiglass G1216. This rod needed a lot of TLC. The decorative wrap and all guides had no finish on them. I retied all of guides and recreated the original decorative wrap matching the original colors. Finally found the correct tiptop with a green shock ring to match the original guides. Working on the last step to fill, sand, and seal the cork. This rod has been brought back to life for at least another 40 years.

Having fun with Ai. I might have to turn these into a shirt.

This design needs some work but I like where it’s going.

Thoughts on a shirt design on the back?

Better late than never. Finished my son’s Seafoam Green St. Croix - SC-II - Surf Rod. 9’-0”, Med-Mod Fast, 15-40lb, 3/4-4oz. Custom viper skin wrap on the grips, CRB aluminum reel seat in gunmetal, gloss black aluminum winding checks, gloss black American Tackle TiForged double foot guides, custom fade wrap to match the grips.

Finished this rebuild with Fuji SS Silicon Carbide guides, cross target wrap in orange, metallic blue, black, and white.

Rebuilding a customers 8’-6” inshore rod. Finally finished the cross target wrap on the rear section of a split grip. Now it’s time for a tie off.

Recent build for the wife. 2 piece 7’-6” Med/Fast, Teal MHX Blank, cork grips, color matched teal reel seat. 15” Spider Wrap in all metallic threads. Not an easy wrap in all size A metallic threads but this rod is a show stopper. We paired it with a lightweight silver 3000 series spinning rod.
