the tidy temple 🏡

creating a safe home was the main way i navigated heartbreak and returned to myself. it’s also hard to share the abundance of my home right now, when so many people are having theirs stripped away under this administration

as a daughter of immigrant parents, the life i have is a direct result of their courage, hard work, and hope for a better future

all this to say, i hold gratitude and grief at the same time. i share my home as a reminder of what every person deserves: safety, dignity, and rest

i am not really tidy … i am messy and i think my landlord would be very disappointed if he saw my home studio. but my rent is (usually) not late, and im making all the art that i’ve always wanted to make as a child ⭐️🤸🏽‍♀️ so
