To our loving community - we have a crisis. Please read on and check the link at the bottom.
There are so many dogs in dire, dire situations and we cannot save their lives if they don’t have a foster home to land in. It breaks us every single day to have to say no to a dog in a horrible situation knowing their likely demise.
It is times like this when we ask you to open your hearts and homes to help these innocent souls. Many are literally abandoned and starving. And as a society, as a community, we can do better by them.
Sometimes you don’t foster for more than 3-4 weeks and sometimes a bit longer. We guide and support you and we have a robust community of experts to help!
Can you help one of these angels? https://savinggreatanimals.org/our-services/foster/foster-dogs/

This sweet angel baby was found recently as a stray in Yakima and is very pregnant. We’d like to get her into our care on Tuesday’s regular transport to Seattle but will need a foster home for her.
We’d love for her to go straight to a foster that can commit to taking care of her through the birth and approx eight weeks after with the puppies. (It is really the best for her and the litter to not have to move around once she arrives)
We provide all the supplies, resources and guidance with whelping and puppy rearing. It’s an experience like no other, in a good way!
If you can help please email [email protected]
*We aren’t sure just how far long she is, but she is very pregnant. We will get her into the vet asap.

Please hold good thoughts for Rosita! This little lady has a very concerning lump which is being checked by our friends at Veterinary Specialty Center of Lynnwood this morning.
Rosita was very scared when she arrived in our care and spent her first few days at Doug’s Place, decompressing and building trust with humans. She quickly graduated to foster care where she has become a very social and sweet pup.
Her foster discovered a lump on Rosita’s right rear hip area, which has rapidly grown over just a few days. We are hoping to get some answers today.
We will share updates as they are available.

Looking for a pup to love? One of these two darling boys could be your ticket to cuddle land!
Please meet Rowdy (tan and white) and Rocky (more white w tan) and both are available for adoption! Please share them around.
Meant for adoption separately but clearly from the same mama.
They are mixes of many handsome breeds, probably some boxer, staffy, and a few others adorable breeds.
They are both great dog with fantastic temperament and very fun personalities.
They love other dog, big and small. They love all people and are happy. At 6 months old they’re still growing and will grow to large or the large side of medium, 60-70 lbs.
We would love to see them both with an active family or individual and a home with a yard.
Apply and come meet!

Gracie is waiting for the right family to find her! In the meantime, Gracie’s royal subjects pay attention because she just had her birthday!
The Queen has enjoyed quite the royal birthday celebration! 👑🎈It had included a million massages, an iced birthday cookie and a giant squeaky tennis ball.
Her majesty enjoyed munching on a ball, taking a slumber in a most unqueenly position, and wedging herself into a shrub for reasons unknown (we don’t ask 🤣). She later donned her finest bandana for a palace feast featuring seared steak drizzled with puréed mixed greens, exhibiting much slobbering and very few table manners.
The Queen has now retired to her royal chamber for a snooze atop her favorite blanket, freshly warmed by her devoted laundress! She asked not to be disturbed. All hail Queen Gracie as she enters another year on the throne! 🎊🐾
All four beauties at our adoption event today got so many hugs and kisses they’re probably knocked out sleeping.
Available for adoption are Honey, Mac, Sable and Gracie.

We are over run with foster needs but, as always, doing everything we can to help pups in need.
Swipe to see some of our latest:
- 5 lab puppies without a momma need a foster home! 4 boys, one chocolate girl. They can go all together or be split up 2 & 3 in different foster homes if needed. They are estimated to be around 5 wks old. We are not splitting them up as solo pups due to their age.
-We have a mom with two babies who need a foster home as well, ideally they would all stay together but they may be ok split up. Pups are old enough. But would still need another dog in the home.
-Biskey the 9 month old Spaniel mix
-Susi the Chihuahua mix with the most epic underbite
-Urgent: Wilson! (See our post from yesterday)
-and more…
Please email [email protected] if you can foster!
