we’re back at Ono Authentic Hawaiian Poke for a delicious line-up of desserts, one of which will be our calamansi sheet cake 🤤

it’s a calamansi triple threat with layers of calamansi cake, buttercream, and curd! 🌟

and don’t worry, we’re bringing ube cream puffs too 😉

we love teachers, and teachers love cookies, so when an order came through to treat a customer’s fellow educators to a little back-to-school pick-me-up, we were honored to be involved! 🍪

6 dozen brown butter chocolate chip and espresso cookies (pictured), and 1 dozen off-menu gf lemon butter cookies, made their way down to burien for those teachers 💛

our first 6” calamansi olive oil cake order went out a few days ago for a family celebration 🥹

your orders have kept us busy this month! 💛 we’re delivering another special cake order later today for a work party happening tomorrow, and then we’re taking a little break for the rest of the week before diving back in for pop-up prep ⛅️

because no special occasion is complete without an order of cream puffs! 🌟

this order got us thinking.. it’s been a minute since we’ve sold ube cream puffs at a pop-up! should we bring them back for Ono Authentic Hawaiian Poke later this month?? 👀💜

and just like that, it’s september 🥰

we’ve only got one pop-up on the books so far this month, but we’re already busy with orders and some back-of-house organization work as we gear up for fall and winter markets! 💪

since we revamped the look of our calamansi cream puffs, we thought it would only be right to reintroduce them to you 💛

our classic choux and craquelin that you all know and love holds a slightly mellower version of our calamansi curd (thanks to the gentle touch of a mascarpone cream) so it isn’t quite as maasim (sour) 🤤

we finish it off with a bit more of that mascarpone and another little blob of the calamansi curd for good measure 🌼

the feedback we got on these back in june confirmed they were still just as masarap (delicious) and memorable, so to the og calamansi cream puffs lovers (you know who you are 😉), don’t worry! they wont let you down 😎
