This past summer UDS raised funds for an American medic serving in Ukraine since 2022, after 2 stabilization points where she worked were destroyed by orc drones in Nov. 2025 & Feb. 2026. She & her team are ramping up new care sites in multiple places. Thanks to all donated!

Today, we honor the International Day of Peace and this year’s theme: “Invest in Peace.”
Few countries want peace as much as Ukraine, and few have worked so hard for it. Unwilling to be devoured and erased by a brutal invading force, Ukraine still stands and Ukrainians everywhere dream of peace.

Для щоденної роботи лікарів, медсестер, фізичних терапевтів та інших спеціалістів лікарням передали медичні рукавички.
Протягом робочого дня їх використовують постійно: одну пару змінює інша. Після використання ці витратні матеріали утилізовують, тому потреба в них залишається постійною.
За кожною парою медичних рукавичок стоїть звична для медиків робоча ситуація: лікар оглядає пацієнта, медсестра готується до маніпуляцій, фізичний терапевт працює з пацієнтом після травми.
Для кожного з них рукавички є невеликою, проте необхідною частиною щоденної роботи. Саме тому важливо, щоб такі витратні матеріали постійно були в запасі лікарні.
Загалом від початку повномасштабного вторгнення організація надіслала Першому медобʼєднанню Львова 18 палет з медичними рукавичками.

Today we join Ukraine in honoring its rescuers on Ukrainian Rescuer's Day. Few countries have ever relied on its rescuers as much as Ukraine has been forced to since russia launched its full-scale invasion. Every day these brave men & women save lives that would otherwise be lost. They can never be thanked enough.
