This year, I wanted to make more time for myself and for the kind of art that brought me into photography in the first place. For those who’ve been following me for a long time, you already know film lives in my soul — especially in this space.
It felt so good to step back into it and shoot purely for the love of creating, using nothing but my Pentax 67, Portra 400, and Ilford HP5 400.
Unedited and straight from Panda Labs.
As always, if we’ve worked together before and you’d like to create something like this, get in touch. If you’re new to modeling and want to make something creative together, reach out.

Light changes everything.
The same wedding can feel soft and romantic, bold and editorial, moody and cinematic, all depending on the lighting. From golden hour portraits to candlelit receptions to classic overcast Seattle skies, lighting is one of the biggest factors in how your wedding photos will ultimately feel.
As a Seattle Wedding Photographer, I don’t just document moments, I’m constantly reading light, adapting to environments, and guiding couples into the most flattering, natural conditions throughout the day.
I just shared a new in-depth blog on How Lighting Affects Your Wedding Photos over on my site, link to blog in bio.

How Lighting Affects Your Wedding Photos (And Why It Matters More Than You Think) — Vow House Wedding Photography When couples first reach out to me for Seattle wedding photography, they often talk about location, style, and timeline—but rarely lighting. And yet… lighting is everything.
Hot take: you don’t have to have a wedding party…
But if you do, it can completely shape your day (and your photos).
I wrote a full blog on this—roles, trends, what actually matters → vow.house

Had so much fun a couple weeks back with this couple for their engagement photos.
We started at volunteer park during the soft light with the water tower and the conservatory in the background.
They also wanted to get some shots inside their favorite bar, . Shout out to the staff for being so accommodating to us!
We then headed down to Pioneer Square, my absolute favorite part of Seattle, ending at sunset at the new waterfront beach access.
Absolutely love how Seattle focused this Engagement Shoot turned out. Troy and Rachel really brought the energy, love, and playfulness as well!
