STORY TIME: It was 2017, I had just gotten off a fun run with my previous band, Shoreline Drive, and took some time away to get inspired again. I call up my friend / producer with a handful of new song ideas & he invited me to work with him at studio in Bremerton.
Bradly and I would get together as often as we could, I’d take the ferry over to Bremerton & we got after it in a huge way. We were just recording songs for the love of the game with no thought of starting a band, no shows lined up. Just creating to create.
I’m sharing this because this is where it all started!! I look back at those times so fondly, we were just searching for something new, and it was so genuine to us at that time. After a year of working on & off in Bremerton we had a collection of songs that eventually became Lovely Colours.
Here’s one of the lost songs from those sessions… you can tell we were searching for something and I love that part so much.
