Washington DECA is proud to continue making strides towards accessibility and inclusivity in the DECA experience!

We are grateful for the work of our ambassadors for helping us to ensure Washington DECA is a welcoming place for all.

Through creating Lead WA DECA resources to close the competition gap, to publishing a DECA for Everyone Week social media campaign and hosting DECA Threads, their work helps us ensure the DECA experience is equitable and inclusive to all.

Thank you to all our 2025-2026 A+I Ambassadors!

Congratulations to Karsen from Ridgeline DECA on her Community Giving project! Her efforts gathered essential goods for vulnerable students within her local community college. Alongside schools across Area 11, Karsen's work went beyond competition to make a real-world impact on her community. Utilizing Washington DECA's partner, Realize The Dream, Karsen created change through volunteering, donation, and advocacy.

Once again, thank you to Karsen for her amazing work and heart for service!

Every year, DECA Inc. awards five IMPACT Program Awards, which showcase the dedication and hard work of different state officer teams. This year, our Team Timeless submitted in three of the categories and was proud to take home a historical THREE of the awards in Advocacy, Community Outreach, and Innovations!

In the Advocacy submission, we showcased Washington members’ 250+ letters to state legislators, 50,000+ views on social media advocacy posts, and 1,000+ signatures from DECA supporters across the state on a petition to bring back lost CTSO funding. Alongside a small team of student ambassadors, these efforts showcased Washington DECA’s passion for advocacy and our belief that when we stand together, our voices only become stronger.

In Community Outreach, we highlighted our annual community service partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer to raise funds for childhood cancer research. With 50,000+ social media views through our ALSF social media campaign, we raised awareness and encouraged chapters to become involved. With the help of chapters across the state, we are grateful for the WA DECA members who joined us in fundraising! Together, we raised $8,361 for ALSF.

And in the Innovations submission, state officers coded Train WA DECA, a website to pair AI with competitive success. Inside members’ personalized dashboards, members were able to study performance indicators, flashcards, practice tests, and upload presentations for feedback. With a hands-on and adaptive approach to competition, members who utilized Train WA DECA were able to perform at their best in DECA competition.

We are so proud of our 2025-26 State Officer Team, Team Timeless, and all our Washington DECA members who helped make these wins possible! Swipe to see their impact.
