Technology has a habit of rearranging the furniture just after we learn our way around the room.

My mother was ninety-three when Facebook moved one button too many. She threatened to throw her computer out the eighth-floor window.

She never did. She called me instead.

That may be the real lesson: keep learning, keep laughing, and ask for help before you open the window.

Sometimes wisdom is not winning the fight. Sometimes it is simply stepping aside.
