Krentz String Works

Krentz has multiple inventions and innovations to his credit including carbon fiber bass bar inserts in K. Michael Krentz cellos, the Krentz Wolf Eliminator, and the Krentz Play-In Service technology. In 2008, as an award-winning cellist and specialist in the finest modern makers instruments, Krentz met his first Robert Brewer Young instrument with which he felt he finally had found a truly great modern cello. Krentz and Young met to discuss the immediate start of a new Strad model cello with input from Krentz. That important dialogue continues to this day and has branched into many new innovations that are now and will be presented by Krentz String Works in the future.
