Silence is costing girls their futures in Wakiso District, Uganda. 💔

This November, Rescue women foundation is hosting March for Life: Breaking the Silence — one day, thousands reached. Free ultrasounds, Mama Kits, Mosquito nets, Sanitary pads, Eye care, HIV screening, Male-responsibility workshops, and Urban farming training so young mothers can build real income.

$7 = a mosquito net that protects a mother and baby from malaria
$50 = a Mama Kit for a safe delivery
$150 = an ultrasound that catches complications early

Orphans Serving Their Community 🧹❤️🇺🇬

On August 28th, something beautiful is happening in Jinja, Uganda.

Orphaned children from Hope Baptist Children's Care and Ishanu Ministries International aren't waiting for someone to show up for them. They're showing up for their community — volunteering their time to clean a local market and give back to the place they call home.

And after the cleanup? A free Health Camp — where a mobile medical unit will provide health checkups for orphans and children in the surrounding community at no cost. Plus food, music, and a celebration of what community looks like when everyone plays a part. 🎶🍽️

Africa Rising Initiative is raising $1,322 to fund the full event. Here's what that covers:

🧹 Cleanup supplies (brooms, gloves, tools) — $130
🏥 Mobile medical camp — $278
🍽️ Food & refreshments for all — $392
🎶 Tent, sound, band, media & transport — $472
🗂️ Supplies & miscellaneous — $83

These children have so little — and yet they are choosing to give. The least we can do is make sure they have everything they need to pull this off.

So excited to roll out our new jewelry making vocational training to Ishanu Ministries International. Providing traditional skills to these orphans and widows will allow them to sell goods for basic necessities. Follow and support our efforts as we roll training out to all of our partner orphanages.
