The moment right before the Bride and her Father walk down the aisle, always gets me. It’s a fleeting moment, but is filled with so much emotion. I still remember my moment with my Dad. Now I get to see it most every wedding I get the honor of being a part of. So grateful 🙏🤍🥹

This photo was taken on a trip to New York, around 1995.

I remember visiting the Twin Towers and going all the way to the observation deck.

In August 2001, I returned with my husband and our two year old daughter, while pregnant with our son Nick. We went to the top again.

Just weeks later, the towers were gone.

It is still difficult to comprehend.

Remembering all those who lost their lives that day, their families, and the heroes who ran toward danger.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Behind every beautiful, effortless celebration is a whole lot of backend planning and communication.

That’s the part you shouldn’t have to see.

The best celebrations happen when the right people are working together behind the scenes.

This season for me, apart from the lovely couples I’ve had the privilege of working with, has been about community.

I returned to the wedding industry two years ago after an extended break, and building relationships within this community has been one of the most valuable parts of coming back.

What I’ve learned is that we all have different approaches, different strengths, and different ways of doing what we do, but ultimately, we share a common goal: we want our couples to be happy.

We want them to feel relieved. Taken care of. Excited. We want them to trust that the team around them is working together to make a little magic happen on their wedding day.

And I’ve realized how important that sense of connection is to me.

Moving forward, I’m intentionally making more space for it. More in person conversations. More time getting to know vendors beyond an Instagram handle or an email thread. And more opportunities to sit across the table from my couples and really know the people I’m planning for.

I want the couples who book me to feel genuine care and trust that I will do everything I can to protect their day.

And I want the vendors I work alongside to feel supported, respected, and truly collaborated with. Hopefully, those relationships continue long after the event is over.

I love what I do. But one of the things I love most is that I get to decide how I do it and why I do it.

For me, it comes down to community, care, ethics, and trust.

I’m looking forward to another season with more of all of it. 🤍

From the beginning, we are setting the tone for our planning relationship. Building trust. Creating clarity. Giving our couples the confidence and relief that comes from knowing someone is paying attention, thinking ahead and looking out for them. That matters at every level of service.
We are building a relationship that feels grounded and approachable, while leading with experience, intention and care.

Because great planning is not just about creating a beautiful wedding. It is about how you feel getting there. 🤍

Sometimes we’re drawn to things that connect us to our hearts. Lately, I’ve been yearning for routines.

Back to school is what August used to be for me. I loved the school supply and clothes shopping, getting everything ready for the year ahead. Even though my kids have been grown and out of the house for six years now, apparently that part of me is still very much there.

Yesterday I went for a walk, picked blackberries along the way, and somehow it opened the floodgates of “mom mode.” I came home and made blackberry cobbler. Then this morning, having some with my coffee, it hit me.

I still go into that back to school mindset this time of year. The routines. The preparing. The feeling of home and a new season about to begin.

My heart misses it. Just had that moment. ❤️

One year ago today, Greta + Tim promised forever. 🤍

Watching couples begin their marriage is always an honor. Seeing life continue to unfold after the wedding is one of the greatest joys.
