A favorite memory from December '18. Flying the northern route from Paris back to Seattle, the clouds broke just enough to see the moon shining over the massive ice flows off the coast of Greenland.

That drive is honestly unbeatable. Seeing the snow-capped peak towering over the whole way up never gets old. 🌲✨

It's amazing how the bright, painted details on this winged sun disk above the entrance are still preserved after all this time ☀️🪽
Ceiling areas like this survived so well because they were sheltered from direct sunlight, rain, and shifting desert sands, keeping those vibrant ancient colors locked away in deep shadow.
