A weekend that showed us just how much potential we have, and had a bittersweet ending.

Throughout this race, we learned a lot about the car and saw the performance that’s there. Unfortunately, the final race ended with contact on the last lap, but we walked away knowing we have a package capable of much more.

We’re already working with The Peak Collision Center and Ruiz Motorsports on upgrades and improvements with one goal: come back stronger and fight at the front of the pack. 💪🔥

Next stop: Salinas Speedway, October 17–18. 🇵🇷🏁 We’re ready to keep pushing.

Every lap was another opportunity to learn, improve, and keep pushing my limits. The MX-5 provided by Velocity Warehouse 🏎 🏁 was solid all weekend, and I’m grateful to everyone at CFR-SCCA who helped make this event such a success.

I’m excited to keep building momentum and see what the rest of the season has in store.

Another successful race weekend in the books. The plan came together exactly as intended, and the MX-5 provided by Velocity Warehouse 🏎 🏁 was absolutely on point. It performed flawlessly all weekend without a single issue, allowing us to focus on executing every session and accomplish our goals.

To top it all off, I officially earned my SCCA Full Competition License, allowing me to begin competing in SCCA Majors and Super Tour events. I’m excited for what’s ahead as I continue working toward racing the Mazda2 B-Spec across the United States.

A huge shoutout to Robert Tañon and his entire team for providing such a great car and for all of their support throughout the weekend.

Congratulations as well to Jose from VelocityProSims.com who drove the #23 MX-5 in STU, for earning his SCCA Novice Permit and putting together a great performance throughout the weekend. It was an incredible weekend all around.
