The National Association of Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) is a national nonprofit organization established in 1933.
The National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems (NAPHSIS) is the national association of state vital records and public health statistics offices which is based in the Washington, DC area. It serves as a crucial advocate for state vital records and public health statistics offices across the United States. Comprising over 250 public health professionals from each state, the five territories, New York, and the District of Columbia, NAPHSIS provides national advocacy, technical assistance, training, educational programming, and valuable resources to support and promote its membership.

Today, NAPHSIS Board of Directors brought the voice of vital records and health statistics to Washington, D.C. They connected with policymakers and highlighted the critical role our community plays in supporting public health and serving communities across the country.
