Proud to speak in support of Gov. Maura Healey this afternoon in Cambridge alongside Reps. Decker and Owens. In my remarks, I focused on all the progress we’ve made on the MBTA over the past four years. I also highlighted the Governor’s efforts on reproductive freedom, immigrant protections, gender-affirming care, gun control, and housing. Meanwhile, her opponent, “MAGA Mike Minouge,” is threatening to drag our state backward and undo all our efforts to resist Trump. We cannot let that happen; we need to deliver a big victory for the Governor here in Cambridge and Somerville! ✊💗🎉🗳️

Thank you Somerville for making us your new state legislative delegation! It was a joy and an honor to get together for dinner at Rincón in East Somerville to celebrate our wins and discuss the work ahead. It’s still Housing for All, Tax the Rich, and Free Palestine. ✊❤️🎉🙏
The 101st annual Feast of the Healing Saints Cosmas and Damian is open through Sunday! It was an honor to walk in the procession up Harding Street and down Warren Street with Sen. Sal DiDomenico and fellow members of the Society this evening. Saints Cosmas and Damian Society - Cambridge, MA

I am heartbroken at the loss of MIT Professor Thomas Rose who died on September 2 after reportedly being struck by a heavy-duty pickup truck on August 21 by the intersection of Memorial Drive and Mass Ave. Today I spoke with the State Police, the District Attorney, and top administrators at DCR and the City of Cambridge transportation department to try to learn more about what happened and to call for accountability for the automobile driver and for an immediate assessment of this intersection. This afternoon I attended a vigil at MIT (pictured above) where those who knew Professor Rose were distraught and overcome with grief. While this area is not part of the 26th Middlesex district, I remain determined to continue pushing for road safety improvements, driver awareness and accountability because one life lost on our roads is one too many.
Thank you Cambridge and Somerville! 🙏 💗 🎉

Thank you to the Cambridge and Somerville voters of the 26th Middlesex District for sending me back to the State House with a resounding victory. We received 76% of the vote in a race with a hard-working challenger. A win this big belongs to our entire community, and I am humbled and honored by the trust voters continue to place in me.
Big thanks to my campaign team: James, Noah, Alejandro, and Audrey; to our volunteers; to my legislative aide, Chris; to my campaign treasurer, Frank; and to all of my friends and supporters. Thanks as well to the 50+ progressive organizations, housing groups, labor unions, and state and local officials who endorsed my re-election campaign.
The promises I made when I first won this seat are the same promises I pledge to keep today: I will never abandon our shared progressive values, I will always fight for those who most need policymakers to be on their side, and you will always be able to reach me directly with any questions or concerns you might have. 🙏 💗 🎉
