PRESS RELEASE FOR FUTURE OF READY TO RUN;

As we get into the fall season, it's apparent that we make this announcement with true honesty: after the 2026 season, there will be no more convention operations; Ready To Run will focus on more smaller, personal events, then operating at larger comic con and anime conventions, as much I like doing them, this isn't an easy tasks, while the decision is simple, the thought went along this decision took months.

So Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite! (SNAFU Con) 2026 would be the last time you'll see me and my model trains. Now, this is simply just a hiatus, not truly ending, but this hiatus would give me a chance to try more opportunities with my model trains, like operating at special events dedicated to pop culture, like a Furry Meet. This would expand the hobby further and give folks a chance to see my model trains.

I would be back, but not next year or in a few years, so this is a nice send-off for everyone who supported me at these conventions. Thank you very much.

Well, Silver Age Comic Con is a wrap! Thank you to Silver Age Comic Con for letting me operate their convention and making a lot of memories. The con itself was one of the best for me, at least. Everyone was quite excited to see the model trains, and telling me that I had a cool operation, though there were a few bad moments, 2 kids touched the Pokémon displays, and one kid touched Roger, despite there being a 'no touch the models' sign. I had to raise my voice on some occasion, for SNAFU Con in a couple of months; I may need to add more signs to get the message across.

Other than that, I'm quite happy with how the weekend turned out. Though all things must come to an end, because this is my last Silver Age Comic Con, I'll be taking a hiatus after SNAFU Con and the 2026 season. It's been a ride, but sometimes the ride needs a rest.

PRESS RELEASE;

Ready to Run is proud to operate at Silver Age Comic Con for the second time. The convention has done well with us in the past, and I'm glad to be back at the convention. You'll see 1986, 2102, and 844 operating excursion trains, and speciality trains for the convention.

Attendees should note that the models aren't toys, respectively, and they shouldn't touch my models, nor should they be very close to the models, 2 feet is the maximum distance between models and people, and for any cosplayers, please be careful of any protruding cosplay, since that can be a possibility that my models might get knocked over. These models aren't cheap, so please be respectful when coming to the layout.

I hope everyone has a great convention!
