We are a Collision and Auto Body Repair Center in Spokane Valley Washington

That blue Corvette is hard to miss, but the paint booth behind it is just as important to this photo. 🎨

At Washington Auto Collision, our refinishing process is supported by an Ameri-Cure paint booth and a PPG paint system. Those tools help our team work in a controlled environment and support accurate, consistent refinishing after auto body repairs.

We also use PPG MoonWalk mixing technology and Digimatch color-matching tools as part of that process.

The equipment matters, but the goal is still simple: when the repair is finished, the color and finish should look like they belong on the vehicle.

That is the kind of detail we focus on here in Spokane Valley.

There are a lot of familiar faces packed into this photo. 👋

Some have been here a long time. Some came up through different parts of the shop. And every one of them plays a part in helping a damaged vehicle move from drop-off back to its owner.

That’s really what this picture is about.

Not a building. Not equipment. Not a list of job titles.

Just the people behind Washington Auto Collision.

Family owned and serving Spokane Valley since 1999, and still very much a team effort every day.

Sometimes the best review starts with, “I screwed up my tailgate.” 😄

David Starr came back to us after damaging the tailgate on his truck and wrote that our team does “top notch work.”

He also gave us a little grief for being busy, which is fair. Once the parts came in, though, he said we had him taken care of in about three days.

Then he finished with: “Thanks guys for another awesome job! If I just didn't know you so well it would be helpful LOL!”

David, thanks for trusting us again, and for keeping us humble.

Sometimes one piece gets the paint booth almost to itself. 🎨

Our painter is in an EZ Mix suit here, spraying a long-removed component while it sits on its own stand.

Taking a part off the vehicle can make it easier to work around narrow surfaces, curves, and edges instead of trying to reach everything while it’s installed.

The funny part is that nobody should think about any of this once the repair is finished.

The piece should go back on the vehicle and simply look like it belongs there.

The best bodywork often disappears when it’s finished.

Look down the side of this matte-finish BMW wagon. The doors, quarter panel, fender, trim, and body lines all have to read as one car. Nothing should make your eye stop where it shouldn’t. 🚗

Then there are the details you notice on purpose: the machined wheels, red brake calipers, and that matte finish catching the shop lights without the usual glossy reflection.

Most customers aren’t going to stand there talking about panel gaps and body lines.

They’ll just look at the car and know it looks right.

Emerald, this one is for you. ❤️

Verna Jacobs gave her a special shout-out in her review: “Everyone was thoughtful and helpful. Shout-out to Emerald for her kindness! My car looks great!”

That’s a pretty good combination.

The repair should look right when the customer gets the keys back. The way they’re treated while they’re here matters too.

Nice work, Emerald, and we’re glad you loved the car, Verna.

Sometimes the most important repair tool in the photo is the conversation. 🛠️

One person is looking at the pickup from the planning side. The other is standing right at the body where the hands-on work happens.

That crossover matters.

A repair plan on a screen still has to make sense when a technician is standing beside the actual vehicle. Looking at the same area together helps connect what was documented with what the person doing the repair is seeing in front of them.

Good repair planning doesn’t stay behind a desk.

A ’57 Bel Air does not blend into the background. 😎

Bright red paint. White roof. Gold Chevrolet script. That big chrome grille across the front.

And while most people would be happy just standing there looking at it, there’s somebody in the photo actually working on the car.

That’s shop life for you.

Some cars still make everyone stop for a second, even when there’s work to do.

An estimate is a lot easier to deal with when somebody actually takes the time to explain it.

That’s what Laura Cooper remembered about working with Brent. She said he went “above and beyond,” explained the estimate in detail, stayed after hours while the situation was being resolved, and made sure everyone involved was treated fairly.

Then came the part every repair team wants to hear: “They did an outstanding quality job and I can’t be more pleased.” 🙏

Clear answers mattered to Laura before the repair. The finished work mattered afterward. We’re proud that both parts of the experience stood out.

Blue welding helmet down. Spanesi Q5 on. Pickup bedside clamped in place. ⚡

This is one of those stages of auto body repair most customers never see.

Before a welded panel reaches this point, fit and attachment areas have to be worked out so the new section can become part of the truck properly. The welding itself is only one piece of the job.

By the time the truck is refinished and reassembled, all of this work will be hidden again.

That’s the goal.
