MEET THE TRAINER — ALLIE! 🐾

Hi everyone, I’m Allie, co-owner of Sasquatch Dogs!

I’ve been training dogs for about 10 years, and I never expected dog training to become such a big part of my life. My journey started after dealing with some medical issues and deciding I wanted to train my own cardiac alert dog. That experience sparked a passion for training that continued growing.

I mainly work with basic obedience and foundations, but my favorite part of training is helping owners learn how to communicate with their dogs and build a solid foundation together. I don’t just want to train your dog — I want to teach you how to understand and work with your dog so you can keep making progress together.

When I’m not working with dogs, I’m usually reading a good book, golfing, or binging a show. Or there’s a pretty good chance I’m hanging out with a dog somewhere. If I see a dog, I can guarantee I will want to say hi!

I’m a pretty laid-back person, and I want dog training to feel that way too. No judgment, no perfection required — just figuring out what works for you, your family and your dog and having some fun along the way!

🐾 MEET THE TRAINER — SULLY! 🐾

Sully is owner of Sasquatch Dogs and has been training dogs for over 20 years.

His journey with dog training started as a teenager through his family’s involvement with Kootenai County Search & Rescue. That experience sparked a passion for working with dogs that has stuck with him ever since. Everything Sully wanted to do career wise, revolved around dogs.

Sully has always had a passion for coaching and teaching. Over the years, he’s coached both soccer and lacrosse, and that same love of helping people learn has carried over into dog training.

His specialty is aggression and reactivity, and he has a particular soft spot for the more challenging dogs. He prefers to work with dogs that want to bite his face off.

His goal isn’t just to change the dog’s behavior. He wants to help owners understand why their dog is behaving the way they are and give them the tools to confidently work through it.

When he’s not training dogs, you’ll probably find him listening to an audiobook, gaming or spending time with his dogs.
