CEE GEES was founded in 1989 in Spokane Washington by a group of avid triathletes. Their goal was to come up with a solution for the insufficient padding provided on the newly invented aerodynamic handlebars. The result was a set of pads made from dual density, high tech, fabric topped foam that did not compress. These pads also greatly reduced the road shock coming up through the stem, into the upper body of the athlete. They were also made to be washable and could be removed to access bolt assembly for adjustment and for transport. CEE GEES set the gold standard for this very niche product. It is sometimes the smaller things that make the biggest difference. Used by pro triathletes, racers (TT) age groupers, amateurs, tri clubs, and weekend warriors, this product makes a huge difference while riding in the aero position. CEE CEES, through acquisition, then became the manufacturer of the JESTSTREAM, a single chamber aero bottle and the PODIUMQUEST a dual chamber aero bottle. Both of these bottles were very innovative and those innovations have also become an industry standard now seen on many bottles in this category.
